What exactly do you do?
We deliver freshly roasted coffee beans and house-made cold brew to offices and lease cafe-grade brewers and grinders.

Do you offer coffee pods, k-cups, etc?
In a word, no.  It's our belief that single-serve systems make poor quality coffee. And we know they're a poor value, with effective prices per pound in excess of $25!  Simply put, we don't sell pods because our locally and freshly roasted coffee not only tastes much better, but is less expensive to boot. 

What makes your coffee better?
1. Better Ingredients. Our coffees are made with Direct Trade sourced beans, which are typically bought from farmers at 2-3x fair trade prices.  These coffees are selected by full time green-bean sourcers whose only job is to find great coffees.
2. Better Handled.  Our coffees are roasted by experienced roasters on small batch machines and delivered fresh.
3. Better Brewed.  Using our equipment, our carefully sourced, carefully handled beans are then carefully brewed on premimum machines programed for a perfect extraction.

Do you offer tea?
We sure do!  Current customers can find tea on the second tab of our customer menu.  We carry teas by Steven Smith Teamaker and Stash.

Can I get my coffee ground?
Absolutely.  We grind your beans for you, according to the specifications of your brewer, shortly before delivery to guarantee freshness.  We can, of course, also deliver your coffee whole bean, if you prefer to do your own grinding.  Counter Culture coffees are not available ground.

Do you charge for delivery?
Delivery is free for all orders of $100 or more.  And don't worry, there are no sneaky fuel surcharges either. 

How often do you deliver?
To ensure freshness, our coffee is roasted to order and delivered on a bi-weekly basis.  

Why so often? 

Because we don't want you drinking old coffee, which tastes, well, old.

Is there a contract?
No, but we can provide a contract if you require one.

How do I become a customer?
We're glad you asked!  All you need to do is contact us or call us at 917.670.3314.  In under five minutes, we'll have you all set up to make your first order.

How does ordering work?
Since all of our coffee is roasted to order, orders should be placed the week before you want a delivery.  Orders can be placed by phone (917.670.3314), email (orders@joyridecoffee.com), or on a recurring basis.  Stumptown, Blue Bottle, Joe, Sightglass, Fourbarrel and Toby's Estate come in 1lb or 5lb bags. Intelligentsia is available in 12oz or 5lb bags.  We can only offer Counter Culture in 1.5lb or 5lb bags, and it cannot be pre-ground. 

Is Coffee X available in my geography?

Maybe! We carry many local brands, which may only be available in their local markets. Other coffees, such as Stumptown, Intelligentsia, Blue Bottle and Counter Culture are available in multiple Joyride locations, due to their b-coastal roasting operations and customer demand. Be sure to contact us to find out if the coffee you'd like is available in your city!

How many types of coffee can I order?

As many as you'd like!  That said, most of our customers prefer to split their order between something they always get and something new that alternates with each delivery.  Ordering too many different types can get confusing.  

Can I make a recurring order?
Yes.  Many of our customers have recurring orders, which can always be tweaked, of course.  In fact, most of our customers prefer to let us keep track of your office's usage and future ordering needs. 

How does payment work?
We'll invoice you for each order, which you can pay by check or credit card.  If we have your card on file, we'll run it after each delivery has been made.
