Bluebird Coffee – Café Review

This is definitely one of my favorite cafés in the city. First of all, the area is the lovely Lower East, right across the street from a little park.

The facade of the coffee shop is just wide open, floor to ceiling windows, which is one of my favorite parts. It creates a large, breathable space, which is perfect for nice days.

The interior decoration made for a very easygoing, laid back atmosphere (Maybe it was because of all of the shades of blue throughout the place, nodding to the name of the coffee shop). It's not crowded, and there a few tables, which makes it a wonderfully relaxing place to go to just sit or read a book.

I ordered an Apollo Espresso, an Ethiopian coffee, for $3.75. My first sip was a blast of flavor. It was tangy, bright, fruity, and had a blueberry type of sweetness.
